An inside look at Globe Life Fields 10 coolest features Review!

Nolan Ryan Statue welcoming fans through the front doors.

It’s not everyday I get to review a new stadium like Globe Life Field, but tonight I attended game 5 of the NLCS series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves.

The new, $1.2 billion retractable-roof stadium, which was scheduled to open March 31 before the coronavirus pandemic altered the season, welcomed its first fans in Globe Life Field.

Here’s 10 coolest features for fans at the new Globe Life Field in Arlington.

By Brad Holden

Number 1…. The Entry

After walking by the Nolan Ryan statue greeting you with his cap and the jumping fountains, you enter almost a wonderland of the highest tallest solid structures you could imagine!

Then almost everyone I saw entered then walked straight up to the center left field of the Globe Life Field area for a picture shot! It just doesn’t disappoint.

Number 2…..Clean.

Considering it was only the 5th day to let fans in kinda explains anywhere you looked, sat, smelt it was 100% just clean. I don’t know how else to describe it!

Number 3….. Food Choices

Custom Hot Dogs.

Your normal baseball food of hot dogs, crackerjacks, peanuts, footlong hog dogs, nachos were present at Globe Life Field. Adding to the mix was fancy pizzas, Pluckers and a Golden Chick, just to name a few. Variety galore!

Number 4….outfield tables.

Outfield tables at Globe Life Park

They were not allowing fans due to Covid, but what a fantastic idea for smaller groups that can munch, talk and converse without sitting in a straight line and leaving the two end people out in actual seats! Brilliant.

Number 5……shadow box highlights.

Very nice touch adding Rangers greats to some of the large columns when you walk in. Brilliant actually.

Number 6……. Alcohol Access

It’s literally everywhere when you are walking in a concourse. You will never be thirsty, that’s for sure.

Grab and go at Globe Life Field.

Number 7…..Artistic pieces

Artistic pieces through the field.

Very interesting pieces of art pop up in strage places throughout the stadium, and all you want to do is look at state!!!

Number 8…. Screens, screens and more screens

Outfield Screen at Glove Life Field.

Not to mention the 3 largest screens I’ve seen at a stadium, but take a look in the elevators, bathrooms and even some escalators allows you to get your fix.

Number 9….. Souvenir Shop

Texas Rangers Souvenir Shop

Everything’s bigger in Texas. No joke. Maybe 6,000 square feet?🤷🏻‍♂️

Lastly Number 10…..a cleaners concept of jerseys to buy

Video speaks for itself.

So whether you are planning to catch one of the final NLCS games or the upcoming World Series, your senses will be overloaded.

And even though the outside look of a Costco or Sams might disappoint, take a couple steps inside Globe Life Field and I bet you change your mind!
