Quick Update on the Lagoon at Windsong Ranch! Wow!


The Lagoon at Windsong Ranch is well underway! The last time I saw this it was all undeveloped land with some water and that was only like 8 months ago.

Windsong Ranch is a huge master planned development in Prosper. Many new builders have purchased lots due to the success like Shaddock Homes, Huntington Homes, Toll Brothers and Mainvue.

The Lagoon is 5 acres and is going to be the first of its kind with 3 white sand beaches with kayak rentals. It’s truly an amazing amenity that no other development around here can compare to.

There is a viewing platform where I filmed from that would blow anyone away seeing this in person.

Who wouldn’t want to live in a community with a Lagoon?

Britton Homes is a fairly new builder to the DFW metroplex entering in 2015, but not new to home building. Britton Homes is the luxury line of Perry Homes ,based out of Houston, that has been in business for over 50 years.

The quality of their houses is evident by just walking through their model. I would compare Britton evenly to Darling Homes or Highland Homes.

Hollyhock is located in North Frisco and is considered more of a “boutique” community. It has a more modern look than most developments and landscaping is meticulously maintained.

Above is 1726 Coralbead Road, which is the first inventory home. that will be ready for move-in at the end of this month. It is 3,477 square feet with 4 bedroom and 3.5 bath.

It was originally priced at $572,900 but marked down now to $524,900! It is a pretty incredible deal considering the large lot and the upgrades that were included.

Star Trail in Prosper has its Grand Opening with Highland Homes, Toll Brothers, Britton Homes, American Legend and Coventry Homes.


Star Trail in Prosper has been MANY years in the making but is finally here. The Developer, Blue Star Land, a company owned by Jerry and Gene Jones family of the Dallas Cowboys Football team, purchased the property about 20 years ago.

Star Trail is strategically located in Prosper less than a mile of the Dallas North Tollroad extension that is still under construction. There is a tremendous amount of retail coming on Highway 380 and the North Dallas Tollroad such as Frisco North, the Matthews Southwest tract and right down 380 is the Gates of Prosper.

Star Trails entry is absolutely gorgeous. They left it completely open and have a large man made pond to the left with fountains. Drive about a 300 feet and in front of you is the 5 acre Star Trail Amenity Center. Here you will find a community clubhouse with party rooms, large outdoor lounge area with TVs, three pools including a stunning pool, leisure pool and a children’s pool.

There are also two party pavilions complete with grills and outdoor dining tables, a one acre children’s play park with picnic tables and two lighted tennis courts seen below.

Star Trails is split up in four different homesite sections. They are 56 foot wide, 65 foot wide, 76 foot wide and 86 foot wide.

Starting in the 76 foot Lots is Britton Homes and Toll Brothers Homes.

Britton Homes is fairly new to DFW, but clearly not new to new Home construction!

Britton should appeal to the ultra modern style buyer. They have exceptional floor plans that are unique and use top of the line materials for a lasting build.

Toll Brothers brings the typical Toll Brothers ultra luxury to Star Trail and starts it off with a brand new plan called the Valen.

The Valen is their model plan is a very unique layout, but it works! A courtyard is carved out in the middle with a beautiful flowing wall fountain.

Toll Brothers currently has 4 Inventory homes ranging from around 4,400 square feet up to 4,800 square feet that are slated to be completed by August 2018. See below.

On the 86 foot wide lots there is Coventry Homes and Highland Homes.

Coventry Homes has been around a long time here in DFW and they are definitely the “bang for your buck,” option.

Wow! Grand Opening of 2,500 homesites at Lakewood at Brookhollow in Prosper!


Lakewood at Brookhollow in Prosper has been in the works for too long. But now, the first phase of 650 homesites has been released to Darling Homes, Britton Homes and David Weekley Homes.

Lakewood at BrookhollowMost of the luxury new home communities, like Whitley Place and Mustang Lakes, are very far North when looking at a map of Prosper. Not this one!

Lakewood at Brookhollow’s entrances are off of 380 and Coit! Fantastic location to be able to get to places quickly.

Formerly this piece of land was referred to as “Meadowbrook,” the entire Lakewood development includes 645 single family residences at build out and represents the first phase of the storied Brookhollow master-planned community envisioned by LandPlan.

The Lakewood development under development today is 247 Home sites built by Darling Homes, Britton Homes and David Weekley Homes. Inspired by the infamous North Dallas community, Lakewood at Prosper will include the dedication of a new 22.8 acre public park, a private amenity Center with a resort style pool, clubhouse, formal gardens, bronze sculptures, a fishing lake, miles of hike and bike trails, future sports practice fields and stone screening walls throughout.

The developer has planned for a stunning entry with lush landscape and the focal point plans to be a 25 foot entry tower that is currently under construction.

The amenity center will be towards the middle of the community with a fitness room and a resort style pool and covered patio built by Gold Medal Pools.

Directly in front of the community at Coit and Highway 380, there is a commercial development currently with a CVS and, just announced, a Market Street will be the other Big name anchors.

Those two will bring other great retail options to the tract with 10 other pad sites currently available.

The three builders have done a fantastic job with their models.

Britton Homes really shows a very modern appeal! They are new to DFW, but as the luxury series of Perry Homes from Houston, their style easily makes them stand out from the rest.

Britton homes starts at around 2,969 square feet and can go up to 4,025 with 5 bedrooms and 5.5 baths!

David Weekley homes really gives you the “bang” for your “buck!” They start at 2,573 square feet and at $381,990 (as of today). The model ,called the Pinecrest, has an incredibly open design throughout the entire home.

The plan really flows well and the secondary bedrooms definitely are bigger than others I walked through.
