Landon Homes at Lexington in Frisco closing out of Phase 10!


Landon Homes at Lexington in Frisco is easily the fastest selling phase and community in Frisco in the past couple months.

The combination of lower sales price and location of phase 10 near Main is the reason why. Landon currently has 2 homes that are available for move in today one at 9395 Forward Pass and 13234 Tabasco Cat Trail.

They have also started selling phase 9 with about 39 lots still available. Many have not been released yet.

Exclusive PGA meeting this morning at Hollyhock in Frisco by Ron Patterson


The City of Frisco and state of Texas offered more than $160 million dollars for the PGA to move. And it worked!

The PGA recently announced it plans to move its headquarters to Frisco.

Today, Ron Patterson who is the President of the City of Frisco’s Economic Department went over the details and the current state of where the project is today at Hollyhock in Frisco.

Brian Cramer with Newland the developer of Hollyhock, which borders a portion of the PGA development, introduced Ron.

Ron opened saying he started working for the city in 1991. Back then they thought about what they could do as a city to set them apart from other suburbs? They kicked around adding a sports concept.

It started with the Roughriders stadium then led to the Stars and the Cowboys etc. And today, Frisco has 8 professional sports organizations headquarters and is known as “Sports City USA”.

Talks with PGA started with possibly only bringing one course here. Then it accelerated to a Major. Then the city used the Dallas Cowboys headquarters and the Star as an example how the PGA could thrive relocating here.

Ron also mentioned that the PGA liked that fact that from DFW, you can get to any destination in the country in a max of 4.5 hours.

The PGA Projects Details:

The development will be located between Rockhill Parkway and Legacy Drive near Frisco’s northern border. It’s projected to cost more than $520 million to build, using public and private funds. Wow!

The land that formerly was part of the estate of Bert Fields Jr. is part of 2,500 acres being master-planned by Hunt Realty Investments.

PGA will anchor the 600-acre, mixed-use development that includes championship golf courses, another Omni Resort Hotel, conference center space and the PGA headquarters.

The Headquarters building will house at least 100 workers initially Ron said, then increase the workforce to 250-300 employees. Plans are for it to be a 100,000-square-foot headquarters and training facility which is projected to cost the PGA $30 million to build.

There will be 3 golf courses! This will include two 18-hole championship golf courses, a nine-hole executive course and practice areas for a total of 45 holes. Don’t forget the gargantuan 35,000-square-foot clubhouse, a 500-room Omni resort, and a 127,000-square-foot conference center.

There will be roughly 40,000 square feet of retail space on the North side focused largely on golf-related items.

The three courses alone account for 540 acres!

This is an incredible deal for the City of Frisco and the officials estimate it will have an economic impact of more than $2.5 billion over the next 20 years.

Since it will be owned with the city, future FISD golfers will use the courses on a weekly basis for practice!

Ron also mentioned that they will be public courses and the surveys have been completed on all 3 courses.

Plans are currently for an opening in June of 2022 of the entire PGA project!

Why the PGA development matters?

North Frisco had a tremendous amount of land to be developed. Now with the PGA and UNT announcing their plans this will continue the growth and the value of homes to the North.

Hollyhock borders the PGA development. Like a puzzle piece! And the fact that Landon Homes are selling homes there prices starting in the low $400’s, goodness gracious….. Now that’s an opportunity!
