Whole Foods coming to The Village at Frisco?!?

Whole Foods has FINALLY decided on its location in Frisco off of the Dallas North Tollroad and Lebannon! So now Frisco residents don’t have to drive to either Plano or Allen to get the Whole Foods fix

Whole Foods has been looking for a couple years now in Frisco at this location or two others on Preston Road. But now since a big developer that is teaming up with the Wades and Newmans of Frisco to develop the 110 Acre, they are all in!

The first of many new developments/retailers that will take advantage of being close to the Dallas Cowboys new practice facility across the street. The Wade family has owned this piece of land for over 100 years, but now is the time.

The development will most likely be “The Village at Frisco” just like The Village at Allen and The Village at Fairview. But it looks like it will either be called Wade Forum, Wade Park or The Forum at Wade Park.

Sources tell me that the current plans consist of 110 acres of multiple uses containing around 585,000 square feet of retail, 96,000 square feet of office over retail, 2.3 million square feet in multiple mid to high rise buildings, 700 multi-family residential units and 125 single family residential units.

So, so exciting!

  1. I cannot tell you how happy this makes me!!!!! We have lived in the Little Elm/Frisco area for 9 years and I have been hoping for a Whole Foods up here the entire time. We eat local and organic food as much as possible and it’s been tough to have to drive to 20-30 minutes to Plano to find a Whole Foods. Yay for Frisco!

  2. Yeah! I’ve been emailing Whole Foods requests to come to Frisco for years! So glad it is finally happening. Won’t have to drive 13 miles one way, and will go more often. We so needed a Whole Foods, definitely a long time coming. So excited – I’ve been spreading the word. And so glad for the location area. I live on this side of town.
