Moxies …eh?
At the newest upscale hotel in the DFW metroplex, the Signature Sandman, Moxie’s is today ramping up their new Canadian eatery with their soft opening.
Already open is the first Moxie’s at the Crescent Hotel in Uptown. Now, Tom Gaglardi and his family (owner of the Dallas Stars), are bringing a well-known Canadian eatery to the Plano/Frisco scene.
Moxie’s Grill & Bar will debut this Sunday in Plano. The restaurant is a popular spot for casual dining in Canada, and will bring “international-inspired dishes made with local ingredients” to Plano.
The menu, was created by Moxie’s executive chef Brandon Thordarson which will feature dishes like Korean fried cauliflower served with gochujang, tempura shrimp “sushi cones,” and Thai red curry.
The cocktail menu is basically crafting libations like a fizzy pomegranate-beet soda that will be on offer during weekend brunch.
This will be the 67 location and the third to open in Texas. There is also another location in Houston as well as the one in Uptown Dallas.
Signature Sandman
Signature Sandman is the high-end of the already established 47 Sandman Hotels mainly in Canada.
Enter this 233 room upscale hotel kind of like the Cambria Hotels. It’s also owned by the Gaglardi and will include party/event rooms and have an indoor pool with a fitness center.
The room service for the hotel will e from Moxies as well as the catering for the event/party rooms.
Current plans are for the Signature Sandman to open early next week!
The Shark Club Sports Bar and Grill
The new Shark Club on the North End of the Signature Sandman will also be a new spot with a premium sports bar experience.
Moxie’s is set to debut this weekend, and will be open for brunch, lunch, and dinner.
Go. As fast as you can to Moxies though, It looks amazing!
Then go check out the Signature Sandman next week and the Shark Bar planned to open in November 2018.
