A Hollyhock is a tall Eurasian plant of the mallow family, widely cultivated for its large showy flowers.
Now since that’s out of the way, let’s talk about Friscos newest master-planned community Hollyhock and Britton Homes!
Hollyhock is located just three miles from the Dallas North Tollway. The project is around 400 total acres and at build out will include approximately 836 single family homes! Newland Communities and its partner North American Sekisui House (NASH) are the developers. This will be Newland Communities second Metroplex area community announced. The other being Canyon Falls in Flower Mound.

The Hollyhock Amenity Center will have a very distinct look that will set it apart from a normal development in Frisco.
It has a contemporary feel that I have not seen in any other development.
There will be close to 20 acres of amenities including the pool and parks.
I really like the fact that Hollyhock to close to 300 acres of adjacent open space and parkland.
Which includes Friscos Northwest Community Trail for off road biking as seen below.
Frisco ISD Schools:
Hollyhock is located in Frisco ISD. Students will be attending currently schools listed below.
Elementary: Newman Elementary School
Middle: Trent Middle School
High: Lone Star High School
Due to Frisco ISD wanting to keep schools smaller the school zone for most communities in Frisco may change any year.
Now let’s talk Britton Homes at Hollyhock in Frisco. Above is their first phase of homes, they have a total of 35 lots.
I am very happy with a standard size Lot size of 65 feet wide by 130 feet deep. To put that in persepective, most standard lots in developments are 65 feet wide by 115 deep! So here with Britton you will get an additional 975 feel of additional space!
Britton homes includes pretty much what any buyer would like and MORE! A couple items I would like to point out that is not standard for other builders is they use Carrier 16 seer instead of the Trane air conditioning system.
They use a heavy amount of polyseal instead of the cardboard styrofoam. A Tankless water heater is included. And lastly they use a 3rd party called Burgess for an additional inspection to make sure the home has no issues.
Tax rate right now is 2.19% as well!
But my favorite part of Britton Homes at Hollyhock is they have 10 inventory homes started! 3 are either a couple weeks out to be ready NOW!
They have a home on Snapdragon that lists at $670,000 and my clients can contract it today for $43,000 TOTAL OFF!

It has an incredible outdoor patio with sliding glass doors and a beautiful media/gameroom concept upstairs.
ALSO, the home on Coralbead is the best deal for Britton. It lists at $624,900 and I get it closer to $604,000! It will most likely be one of the biggest homes in the neighborhood considering its 4,449 square feet! See pics below:
