KHOV selling crazy in Avignon in Plano!

Avignon in Plano has had a rough start. It began as a high end custom community, but not anymore.

Recently Toll Brothers has started selling and they are selling anything and everything they put on the ground. The appeal of Avignon is two things: location and schools.

Everyone has heard how good Plano Schools are, but Avignon is actually the only fantastic location off of Windhaven and a block from the Tollroad with access to anything.

Enter KHOV.

Capitalizing on other custom builders misfortunes, KHOV came into Avignon and purchased the remaining 45 lots.

Toll Brothers developed a second phase of Avignon, and KHOV saw the opportunity to come in and match their unbelievable sales for high end homes.

Here’s the catch, KHOV starts in the $540’s!

Granted the lots are standard in the first phase at 75 wide and 75 deep, but for the location it really doesn’t matter. In phase two they do have some 80 wide by 80 deep lots and a couple oversized available.

Another advantage that new KHOV buyers have is instant equity due to the custom homes all around the lots. I personally know a family that built a home for 1.2 million!

ANNOUNCING West Park in Plano by Toll Brothers at Haggard Farm

West Park by Toll Brothers in Plano will be the last chance for a new home on Haggard Farm.

West Park has been in the works now for close to 2 years and currently offers Toll Brothers but another very good builder will also start sales very soon.

The northern portion of Haggard Farm, approximately 59 acres will consist of about 208 lots and plans to have a pool, playground and outdoor pavilion.

The entry will have two huge stone structures with two man made ponds on each side.

The community plans to have two sections, the Villas and the Estates. The West Park Villas will be around 55 foot wide standard and West Park Estates plan to be around 75 foot wide.

This is bittersweet for me because I graduated from Plano Senior High and every day or off campus lunch we would speed to Collin Creek mall and pass Haggard Farm with the Llamas and cows. But sweet to help clients move to an excellent builder in the best remaining locations in Plano.

Announcing Grand Homes at Northglen in Plano Texas

Grand Homes has recently opened Northglen in Plano. Northglen is a smaller boutique community with a total of around 100 homes.

Northglen is located off of Highway 121 between Coit and Independence. Quite possibly, the BEST location for a new home in Collin County. Northglen is located in Plano and is in Frisco ISD. The schools are rated Exemplary and located very close to the community.

Kathryn Park in Plano by Bloomfield Homes will be a smaller community consisting if 60+ homes and be complete in 2-3 years.

The location off of 121 is ideal and for this price point on what Bloomfield Homes has been included as a standard, it is very hard to beat.

Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys to buy Toni & Guys Mansion in Dallas?

Are Tony and Candice about to buy a home from a Toni?

Well its been an incredible year for one of my favorite athletes Tony Romo this past year. Getting married then having his new baby boy . . . so whats next on his agenda huh? Yep, moving closer to Frisco!

Currently he lives in Irving in what most people call a “Bachelor Pad”, but sources have told me that this past weekend Tony, Candice and baby took a trip right around the corner from where I grew up in North Dallas to one of the most sought after neighborhoods, (rarely even known by the public) called North Forty. But in comparison, the home that Tony looked at is currently owned by the youngest of the 3 Toni & Guys, Anthony Mascolo or the widow of Toni (Who knows?!?!). They picked the home up on a short sale in 2003 when it had only 5,749 square feet and I am guessing did a total remodel because on the tax rolls it is close to 15,000 square feet!
