K Hovnanian Homes is ahead of schedule at Liberty Crossing in Frisco and only has 5 homes that will be available to close in different stages from the end of April to August 2017. They range from as small as 3,735 square feet up to 3,999 square feet.

The advantage of buying towards the end of a community is the discounting will be deeper since the builder has so little to sell. On one of the homes originally priced at $629,900, I would be able to have my clients contract on it today for over $70,000 less! Again, my clients would be contracting on that home in the $550’s

Liberty Crossing in Frisco by K Hovnanian Homes (KHOV) nearing Grand Opening!


The time is almost here for K Hovnanian Homes at Liberty Crossing in Frisco to start their pre-sales! The street are in and their sign went up yesterday.


Liberty Crossing will be a smaller development with only 94 homesites on the current conceptual plat. There will be a pool and park at the front of the development. Standard Lot sizes will be 65 feet wide by 120 feet deep.


But here is why Liberty Crossing really matters!


Above is one of these reasons. There are about 10 lots that are so unique, it will most likely be a first for any new development in DFW but for sure Frisco. The lot above is one of only 3 lots on Bunker Hill Court! Around these lots there is a beautiful winding creek! Are you kidding me?!?


The other lots have other unique features as well such as being oversized, backing to the large mature trees or opening your door to the almost forest in your front yard. Yes some communities are able to save some trees but nothing like this!


The floor plans are projected to be the same as at Richwoods but add and subtract a couple to the lineup. My best guess on pricing would start in the mid $400’s. (But that won’t last that long.)

There will be both front entry and rear entry through Liberty Crossing.

Plans are to open sales at the middle of August or possibly September.

ANNOUNCING Liberty Crossing in Frisco by K Hovnanian (KHOV) Homes


This is by far the biggest news in Frisco Real Estate since Richwoods, Lawler Park and Phillips Creek Ranch!

Just north of the two hottest neighborhoods in Frisco (Richwoods and Lawler Park) Liberty Crossing is currently situated on very prime Frisco real estate consisting of 38 acres.



The main portion of Liberty Crossing was owned by Diane and James Petty. The beautiful long entry off of Independence that led to a small bridge then to their estate and barn was the Petty Residence. James Petty was a successful businessman after selling a wire and cable company. He not only used to raise the Frisco Roughriders horses, but he was the Mascot of the Roughriders! Now he is one of the owners in the Mesquite Championship Rodeo.


Petty along with the other owners held out for a long time, but after the market came back and they were approached by KHOV needing lots in Frisco to satisfy their stockholders, the money was just too much to pass up.

So on April 29th, 2012, K Hovnanian purchased the property from all of the land owners in one big swoop.


What’s so special about this 38 Acres in Frisco, you might ask?!?

In new home developments, you can rarely find a very unique lot in any of the latest North Texas communities. That will now change.

Enter Liberty Crossing Frisco.

Here’s why. The acreage off of Independence already has water features with arteries from Rowlett Creek, but mainly it’s the beautiful huge trees that I am hoping will all remain with the rolling terrain near the middle of the acreage.

Frisco is yet again adding another unique development to the mix with Liberty Crossing in Frisco. And with the news of the Dallas Cowboys moving to Frisco this past week, I don’t know if I can handle any more fantastic news about Frisco!
