The construction on McSpedden Elementary located inside Lawler Park is amazing! I drove by tonight around 8:30pm and they were still working on the concrete!

Frisco ISD was not kidding when they pretty much guaranteed the school to open its doors next school year!

As you can see the plumbing is already in and the carpool lane is what they were smoothing out tonight.

It’s amazing to me how quickly they can get projects like this done so quickly. This will be faster than a couple of my clients houses!!!

Richwoods in Frisco has their 1st Annual Christmas Party

The First Annual Richwoods Christmas Party was a tremendous Success!

Even the drop in temperatures and the gloomy conditions outside couldn’t put a damper on the festivities.

There was hot chocolate and cookies for the kiddos and adult beverages and appetizers for all.

Outside in the cold there was a really fun train ride for the kids. See the two pics below.

And there was also performances from both Vandeventer Middle School Band and the Liberty High School Choir.

And last but not least, Santa showed up for everyone and made the night for most. Especially me! (See Below!)

Highland Homes gives away a Mercedes at the Realtor Event yesterday at The Anatole

Highland Homes might just be too generous to their realtors!?

Yesterday they had a luncheon for Realtors that have sold one of their Highland spec houses between a certain time period this year. Each realtor received a gingerbread cookie decorated differently.

Below is my cookie. And what Jean Ann did (Owner or Highland Homes) was give away a MERCEDES to whoever matched the cookie that she had in a sealed box! A Mercedes!

Shockingly, out of 62 realtors, I got down to the last 3, but lost! But I will tell you this, Highland treats their realtors right!

And by the way, the lunch meal was a sit down filet steak and a neat bomb dessert thingy pictured below.

iFly Dallas opens in Frisco

My son and I took a peek at the new iFly in Frisco (It’s real name is iFly Dallas for some reason!?!) It was awesome!

You enter the beautiful odd looking building to TV screens and a hi tech lobby area. There is where you book your flights and get details on pricing etc.

Here are the current flight packages:

• Earn your Wings – $59.95 – 1 Flyer takes 2 Flights

• Spread Your Wings – $109.95 – 1 Flyer takes 4 Flights

• Spread Your Wings for 2 – $129.95 – 2 Flyers 2 Flights Each and a Video

Yes, it’s pricy but where else can you float in a tube in Frisco?!?

Then you venture up stairs or an elevator to the viewing deck where there are small couches and it’s where all the flyers enter the tube. Then from there an iFly instructor takes flyers one at a time and teaches the technique. It’s simple easy and fun!

Frisco Gun Club has the Soft Grand Opening Today!

At 9:00am this morning, an employee told me around 40 people were in line and ready to shoot!

That kind of response to a Gun Club shows that there was a need and did they ever do it right! It is absolute luxury right when you walk in. There is a vaulted 40 or 50 foot ceiling right when you walk in!

The floor is filled with rifles, handguns and practically any gun you are looking for. The club is actually a club. Like a country club in a way. There is a regular membership, platinum and VIP. The prices start at $225 for an individual to join for a regular membership and has an annual $180 renewal fee. There are too many benefits to list though but a couple are $10 range fee per person and $15 for any guest.

But for the “Big Dawgs” the VIP Membership is absolutely amazing, but big bucks. A Family VIP Membership is $7,500 with a monthly fee of $200 a month. But wait until you see these benefits.

The Frisco Gun Club is the “Nations Largest” in the country and they spent approximately $9 Million on it.

First off, there is a VIP Club lounge that VIPs can have exclusive use of. Upscale private dining, unlimited use of private lanes, 12 guest passes per year, gun storage, 1 hour of private instruction and 12 cleanings per year. Wow!

And regardless your stance on Guns, this is HUGE for the city of Frisco! North of Dallas there are very few ranges and this can not only boost the appeal of people in Dallas to venture to Frisco but will also help travelers have another reason to choose a Frisco hotel instead of one downtown!

The real Grand Opening is on December 6th, 2013.

And last but not least, this place has granite in the bathroom! Who has granite in the bathroom?!? Obviously, the Frisco Gun Club!
